Sorry, no pets allowed

Green Bell Tent, named after the nearby hill, gets the sun all day long. The handy side vents will keep you cool in hot weather and the cosy wood burning stove makes it toasty warm in the evening. On  chilly nights, try one of our special all night logs at bed time.

The Camp Kitchen

The cleverly designed camp kitchen quickly converts to a washing up station!

Everything needed to make a great fry up or simple meal (except the bacon and eggs). If our hens are on form we may even be able to supply the eggs....

Your private loo

Tucked into the little wood behind Green Bell Tent is a sophisticated composting toilet, designed and hand built with an attention to detail and gorgeous views that make it a place worth spending some time in!

It's a bit like being in a state of the art bird hide - look out for red squirrels, hedgehogs, hare, and other wildlife.

The Bell Tent garden

Try your hand at campfire cooking and BBQing -

  • campfire tripod

  • picnic table

  • outdoor chairs

  • dry logs always available

Green Bell from the garden - this is the hill the tent is named after

With the garden surrounding, the woodland behind, and the meadow in front, there's plenty of space to stretch out and relax, play games, or rock gently in the hammock watching the sheep and the sky as the light changes on the fells and fields around you.
