FAQs

  • Do you have EHUs for tents?

No, but there are secure phone charging cabinets, an outside socket to blow up your airbed, inside sockets for hairdryers etc., a fridge and an ice block freezer. These are all available 24/7 free of charge.

  • Can I pay by card?

We have no card machine! You will need cash for firewood, grill deposits, and our walking booklet.

  • Can I bring my pet camping?

Up to 3 pets on leads are welcome to come camping, free of charge. No dogs on the dangerous dog register please.

  • Can I bring my pet glamping?

Pets are not allowed in our Yurt or Bell Tent, sorry pets.

  • Can I play my music if I keep it quiet?

For safety reasons you can't bring your own fire pit or any timber offcuts to burn. Our fire pits are free of charge and we appreciate you buying our good value sustainably sourced logs.

Sorry, no. There is nowhere here where you can empty a toilet.

  • Do you have a chemical disposal point for campervans?

Sorry, no.

  • Can I fill my campervan water tank?

Yes, there are 2 laundry sinks in the laundry area.

  • Can I wash my bicycle?

Yes, please ask for the hose.

  • My gazebo/camping chair/tent/air bed is broken. Can I leave it here?

No, no, no! Please don't leave them here! We may be able to help you to mend stuff but we have no means to dispose of broken gear, old shoes, wet clothes, etc. There is a recycling centre and waste tip in Kirkby Stephen.
